Today is special day for us - Polish people - 80th anniversary of Warsaw Uprising. 80 years ago in 1944, when Warsaw was occupied by German troops, on August 1, Warsawians made a heroic uprising that lasted 63 days. After this event, Warsaw was completely bombed and destroyed.
